Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic Winners and History

The LPGA Volunteers of America Texas Classic launched in 2013 as the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout. The tournament had two cuts — after the second and third rounds — to create a more dramatic weekend.

The current, non-shootout format features 144 players with a 36 hole cut of the top 70 and ties. The 2019 edition also dispensed with the tournament’s previous tradition of including high school and college amateurs.

The Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic is played at The Old American Golf Club at The Colony, Texas. The Colony is a city in the suburbs of Dallas.

The Old American Golf Club plays at 35-36—71, 6,475 yards.
