Washtenaw GC Adds Simulators

Washtenaw GC Adds Simulators

There’s a new way to play golf at Washtenaw Golf Club.

No, not eighteen-inch holes (although that would help my scores). And no, not a golf ball cannon (although that would solve my distance issues).

Instead, Washtenaw Golf Club has added three GolfZon golf simulators in the clubhouse. Bookings for the simulators are available immediately.

GolfZon has been named the best premium simulator in Golf Digest’s Editor’s Choice awards for the last five years. With these simulators, you can play scores of courses, including such icons as Pebble Beach. Washtenaw’s Head Golf Pro Zach Szawara said that GolfZon adds new courses to the list on a regular basis.

In addition to the two shown in the photo above, Washtenaw has a third in a private room atmosphere in one of the original club’s men’s locker rooms. That room is quite spacious, has been renovated, is well appointed and would be great for a party.

The Washtenaw GC bar and grill is just a few steps away from any of the GolfZon simulators.

Washtenaw Golf Club is located off Packard in Ypsilanti, just past Golfside Road. One of the oldest golf clubs in the state (dating to 1899), it features 18 classic holes of golf, a driving range, multiple practice greens, a full bar and grill, banquet and wedding facilities — and now, GolfZon simulators.
