Watson, Faldo, Langer Say Farewell To Open Championship

Tom Watson, five time winner of the Open Championship, announced last year that 2015 would be his last at the Open Championship. The R&A extended the 64-year-old’s exemption for one year so that he could retire at St. Andrews.

Then, Nick Faldo decided to take advantage of the schedule to end his Open Championship career.

Now, Bernhard Langer, never a winner, but a Hall of Famer indeed, has announced that he, too, will make this year his final stop.

It is the passing of the guard.
