An article in Golf Observer questions the wisdom of the PGA’s insistence on playing 72 holes in the face of bad weather. Their “man in London” argues that it would be better to cut a tournament short and have a Sunday finish than to try to go all 72 with a Monday—or even Tuesday—finale.
For what it’s worth, I agree.
