Workday Charity Open Winners and History

The Workday Charity Open is a one-time event, scheduled as a replacement for the venerable John Deere Classic. The classic, as with so many things, was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.

Update: The Workday Charity Open was won by Collin Morikawa over Justin Thomas on the third hole of a playoff. Morikawa and Thomas were -19 at 269 at the end of 72 holes.

The Workday Charity Open was held — sans spectators at Muirfield Village. The same course will host the Memorial the following week.

The purse for the Workday Charity Open was $6.2 million.

The charities for the 2020 tournament are Nationwide Children’s Hospitals, and Eat.Learn.Play, a foundation created by Stephen and Ayesha Curry.
