Best Player Without A Victory

The best player without a victory? Look no further than Natalie Gulbis.

Despite her image, she’s no Anna Kournikova. In 110 career starts, she’s had twenty top ten finishes. Last year, she earned more than one million dollars. In the Solheim Cup she earned three points of her winning team’s points.

But no victory.

This year, she continues her stellar play, with three top-five finishes in four events. She currently stands seventh in earnings with $140,815.

But Gulbis is not worried.

“My goal,” she says, “is not to win one event. One good week is not going to be good enough for me. My goal is to be a more competitive player and improve and be in contention every week.”

I have to believe that, with that attitude, she is going to win soon—and often.

There’s a good profile of Gulbis at USA Today.

  1. Well, I am hoping that she can step up that last level in ability.

However, I am also willing to pay for her sponsor’s exemption out of my pocket if she starts wearing outfits like that during play.
