Congratulations To “Into The Grain” For Ten Years Of Golf Blogging

Congratulations to my pal John Duval on the tenth anniversary of his golf blog, Into The Grain.

John is a fine player, a fine writer and a fine human being. I first got to know him on a media golf trip to Morocco, then had the chance to take another golf trip to Bandon Dunes with him last summer. That he still speaks favorably of me after both those experiences is a testament to his patience and tolerance.

If you have not already done so, I recommend that you follow John Duval’s golf adventures on Into The Grain. In addition to the usual golf blog fare of rounds, courses, equipment and travel, John has the unique perspective of someone who has competed in world amateur golf championships in locations as far-flung as Turkey and Malaysia. When John tells you that something is good, you are getting the honest opinion of a top amateur golfer.

Here’s to ten more years of golf blogging from Into The Grain. I hope to have the opportunity to tee it up with John again soon.
