Cragun’s Dutch Golf Course Tour

Cragun’s Dutch Golf Course Tour

In August, I had the opportunity to visit Cragun’s Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota for a couple of days of golf and lake recreation.

The “Dutch” course originally was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr, but recently was redesigned by Minnesota native and PGA TOUR star Tom Lehman. Eighteen holes were open when I played (and are shown in the video below), but another nine will open next year.

I had a grand time on the Dutch, in spite of a painful lower back that kept me from playing nearly as well as I would have liked. It’s definitely one I’d like to return to — especially to play the additional nine.

A photo video tour is below to give you a sense of what the course is like. Enjoy.
