Golf Is Everywhere: Animal House Edition
I recently rewatched — for the first time in decades — the classic movie Animal House. I had forgotten that it had a golf scene.
In the scene, Otter and Boon are practicing their golf shots when they spot ROTC officer Neidermeyer berating their new pledge, Flounder. The sight sparks one of the great lines of a movie full of great lines:
Otter: He can’t do that do that to our pledges.
Boon: Only we can do that to our pledges.
