Against all odds, I got in another nine on the last day of November in Michigan. The temperatures were in the upper 40s, but with the sun out, it felt much warmer. No one in our impromptu three-some was wearing anything heavier than a sweat shirt (we all were walking, too, so that helped.)
Thanks to the extended growing season, and the reduced play, conditions were very good. The greens appeared to have not been mowed in some time, so they were more than a little slow. Temporary greens were in place on three holes due drainage work on the regular greens.
I hit some very good shots, and a few truly awful ones, but none of us were keeping score. We all agreed that we were just glad to be playing golf as November closed out.
