Hawk At The Cardinal

While playing at The Cardinal — Michigan’s newest course — I captured this photo of a red-tailed hawk.

One of the things I most enjoy about being out on a course is spotting interesting wildlife. Among the birds, I particularly like hawks. There is something fiercely beautiful about them. There are several at Washtenaw Golf Club that I love to watch.

Like Washtenaw, the Cardinal is a beautiful piece of parklands property. It no doubt is home to a great many interesting critters. I hope the members there take the time to enjoy their wildlife.
