In The Mail: Intelligent Golf Club Subscription Box

Intelligent Golf Club Subscription Box

Intelligent Golf Club enters the subscription box market with a low-cost offering that features unassuming things that you’ll actually use.  The sample box that IGC sent contained six of their branded balls, a bag of tees, a glove, a club cleaning tool, a Vegas Golf game chip and two flatball golf training pucks. The balls are a strong selling point: as three-piece urethane models, their specs match those of high end “tour balls.” The plastic tees are nice. I prefer plastic because they are more durable and don’t leave scraps all over the tee box.

For me, the modesty of the IGC box is a strong selling point. Too many of the boxes I have seen are priced at a point where one disappointing item would fill me full of buyer’s regret.

IGC offers both year-round and seasonal subscriptions priced at just $20 a box. Whether that’s a value for you I think will depend upon how much you like the golf balls, which are at the core of every box.  Fortunately, IGC has a special offer for GolfBlogger readers. Use the code GOLFBLOGGER, and you can get the first box for the cost of the shipping.
