Who is the favorite to win the US Open in 2023?

SportsBetting.ag says the odds-on favorite is Scottie Scheffler at +650. The World Number One has two wins in the 2022 – 2023 season, including The Players Championship.

John Rahm, the 2023 Masters winner, is the second favorite at +1000. Rahm has been the closest thing to dominant on the PGA TOUR in 2022 – 2023, with four wins, including the Genesis Invitational. The Genesis win may well offer a portent, as it is played at Riviera, in Los Angeles.

Brooks Koepka, PGA Champion for 2023 is in at +1200 behind Scheffler and Rahm. Brooks is a bit of a freak of nature, with more major wins than regular tour wins. Could he win another? Why not?
