Old Sport Club, Harbor Springs, Michigan

We were in Harbor Springs, Michigan this past August and while walking around the shops on Main encountered the Old Sport Club. It had a really interesting array of golf art,antiques, collectibles, and old golf books. Less interesting to me, but also in the shop were similar piece of art, antiques and collectibles featuring fishing and hunting.

Plus, cigars.

I spent some time looking at the golf books and art.  Old Sport Club also had a neat looking antique golf board game, which was a nice juxtaposition of my golf and board gaming habits.

Fortunately, I managed to get out of the shop with just one small purchase: an inexpensive wood refrigerator magnet with a pithy golf saying.

I’d love to hit the lottery, retire and then run a shop like this.
