A joint US and Canadian task force is investigating Dr. Anthony Galea, a Toronto doctor who has treated—among others—Tiger Woods. Dr. Galea is suspected of trafficking in human growth hormones and Actovegin, a drug illegal in the US.
Galea apparently was called to treat Tiger when his recovery from his knee operation was not going as well as expected. The treatment Tiger received apparently was an entirely legal platelet therapy.
Still, on top of all the other stuff, it doesn’t look good.
