Another Month And Another Course

The first of July found me at yet another course, while simultaneously extending my streak of months played in Michigan to 112.

The newest course added to my “collection” was the Rogers City Country Club (pictured above; the ninth green). It is my fourth new course this season; the others are The Cardinal, Manistee Country Club and Cedar Creek. All told, that adds up to 278 different courses played in Michigan, plus 44 others not in Michigan.

Rogers City CC is a pleasant course that the folk in the area are lucky to have. The front nine is a parklands style design, while the back is more prairie / pasturelands. Conditions were quite good; it is evident that management cares.

The twelfth at Rogers City Country Club.

Rogers City is about an hour from GolfBlogger’s Northern Headquarters, so I likely won’t be visiting again. I am glad, however, that I made the trip for the day.

I’ll have a full review of the course in due course.
