Ever run into a wild animal while golfing?
Ferocious ones, or run-of-the mill? I regularly see turkey, fox, deer, skunk, muskrat, snapping turtles, plus various birds, notably pheasant, woodpeckers, duck, swan and hordes of Canada geese. The only ferocious thing I’ve ever seen was a bobcat on a course in Florida. Weirdly, I have not seen gators on courses in either Florida or South Carolina, although I desperately wanted to get a photo of one.
Actually, Canada geese can be quite ferocious.
Yikes! That’s an impressive range of animals. Our colleague saw a rattlesnake in Palm Springs a couple of weeks ago and snapped a great shot. It just slithered off the course, no harm done.
