Golfer’s Hymn – Golf Poetry

GOLFER'S HYMN

A bag of clubs, a dimpled ball.
Fair verdant greens, that rise and fall,
An azure sky, a glorious sun.
And a day of golf is well begun.

A score that does not bring disgrace.
Good will for all the human race,
Enjoyment of a setting sun.
And a splendid day of golf is done.

E. W. Stansbury.
