Korn Ferry Tour Championship Winners and History

The Korn Ferry Tour Championship is the finale of the Korn Ferry Tour season.

As of 2023, the event features the top 75 players in the Korn Ferry Tour standings through the Korn Ferry Finals series. The series begins with the top 156 players invited to the Albertsons Boise Open. At the end of that week, the top 144 players in the standings are eligible for the Simmons Bank Open. The field is winnowed to 120 for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The no-cut Korn Ferry Tour Championship feature the top 75 after the Nationwide.

PGA TOUR cards are awarded to the top 30 players on the points list after the Championship. The top finisher on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will become fully exempt on the 2024 PGA TOUR, not subject to reshuffle, and will gain access to the 2024 PLAYERS Championship and U.S. Open.

All seventy-five at a minimum get full Korn Ferry Tour cards

The Korn Ferry Championship will be played at Victoria National Golf Club in Indiana through 2029.

Purse for the Championship is $1.5 million.

The name of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship has naturally changed over the years as sponsorship of the PGA TOUR’s minor league circuit has changed. It has variously been known as the Nike Tour Championship, the Buy.Com Tour Championship, the Nationwide Tour Championship and currently, the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.
