Props Bets On Tiger’s Return To Professional Golf

The somewhat surprising announcement that Tiger will attempt a comeback at the HERO World Challenge (November 30 to December 3) has led to a flurry of speculation and predictions about how he will do. Does the big cat still have it in him to win?

The HERO World Challenge is not a bad place for Tiger to test the waters. It’s a “silly season” event with an 18 man field. Last year’s HERO World Challenge was the last time Woods completed all 72 holes of a tournament. He finished fifteenth.

My own guess is that he finishes in the bottom half of the field. He’s had a lot of time off, and much of that was inactive, thanks to the surgery. Realistically, it should take him some time to get back into tournament shape. Does he have the patience?
