Sligo Golf Polo Review
Sligo Golf Polo
Grade: A
Teacher’s Comments: Great fabric. Excellent fit and finish.
The best things about the Sligo golf polo are all related to the fabric.
First, the fabric is lightweight, without feeling insubstantial. I found it the perfect weight for warmer days.
Second, it is moisture wicking. “SligoTech” performance fabrics keep you cool by moving moisture away from the body to the fabric surface to evaporate.
Third, the fabric is anti-microbial. That means you won’t stink up the 19th hole after a hot round.
Fourth, the fabric has a mechanical stretch. You can make a big turn in this shirt without feeling any binding across the shoulders.
And finally, the pattern on this — and many of the Sligo golf polos — have some very striking patterns. It actually turned out to be a bit much for this old man, but I passed it on to my twenty-something son, who now wears it at least once a week because he likes it so much.
Stepping aside from the fabrics, Mrs. GolfBlogger, an accomplished seamstress, has given the shirt her seal of approval for fit and finish.
Recommended.
