The Corrigan Brothers, an Irish band known for its “Ballad of Rory McIlroy” and “There’s No One As Irish As Barack Obama,” has released “Here’s To Our Hero Padraig Harrington” in celebration of Paddy’s comeback at the Honda Classic last week.

Brian Corrigan, the group’s songwriter and guitarist is a seventeen handicapper. He and his brothers are all huge fans of Harrington. Brian Corrigan quipped: All of Ireland is thrilled for Padraig, he never
stopped believing in himself and he is a great example to all young people. His humility and talent make this a day to remember, Its Saint Padraigs day.

The single will be released on March 7th with the first copy being couriered directly to Padraig.

The lyrics follow:

Here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

He never gave up
he never gave in
he stuck to his task
and came out with a win
this great mans comeback
is truly fantastic
in palm beach gardens
the Honda Classic

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

now all over Ireland
the Party has started
for a golfer so fine
and a man so big hearted
a hero to all
the way that he plays
it has come early
Saint Padraig’s day

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

he’s had some bad days
and some golfing disasters
but now he is back
he’ll take on the masters
its worth a bet
and many will back it
this year could be Padraig
in the green jacket

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington

toor a loo toor a loo tooor a loo toor a lon
here’s to our hero Padraig Harrington
