Tiger The Favorite To Win The Arnold Palmer Invitational
After a second place finish at last weekend’s Valspar Championship, Tiger Woods is the the betters’ favorite to win the 2018 Arnold Palmer Invitational. After just four starts on his latest comeback tour, Tiger is in 13/2 on the betting site Bovada. That effectively gives him a 13.33% chance of winning the tournament.
Tiger winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational is a good bet. He already is an eight-time winner at Bay Hill. Tiger has won four of his last five starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and eight of his last twelve.
Wood’s comeback has been nothing short of remarkable. With a fused back and a new swing, he has managed a T23 at the Farmers, a solo 12th at the Honda and a T2 at the Valspar. Right now he ranks fifth on the PGA TOUR in scoring average.

- Justin Rose: 14/1
- Rory McIlroy: 16/1
- Rickie Fowler: 20/1
- Tommy Fleetwood: 22/1
- Hideki Matsuyama: 22/1
- Tyrell Hatton: 25/1
- Henrik Stenson: 30/1
- Patrick Reed: 30/1
- Alex Noren: 30/1
Going little further out, Tiger is 7/2 to win a major this year. That seems far-fetched to me, but …
