Tullymore Classic Craft Beer Tent Part of Festival Fun at Tullymore Golf Resort

CANADIAN LAKES – The Tullymore Classic Craft Beer Tent is another reason Tullymore Golf Resort is the place to be on the coming Fourth of July Weekend.

The popular rock/variety band “Onager” of West Michigan will be playing live music, and the craft beer tent will feature a great selection of craft and specialty beverages from Bells, Leinenkugel,|
Brewery Vivant, Saugatuck Brewing Company and much more.

All of that fun will follow Friday’s first round play in the Tullymore Classic, a June 30-July 2 Symetra Tour event being played on the resort’s Tullymore course for the third consecutive year. The 54-hole stroke play championship features 144 up-and-coming professional golfers on the “Road to the LPGA,” includes a $100,000 purse for the touring golfers and will cap a week-long celebration of Tullymore Golf Resort and the Canadian Lakes area.

“The professional golf tournament, and all the things you can do in Canadian Lakes, like camping, boating and fishing, are great family-oriented activities, but this adds something the adults can do in the evening,” Matt Golden, COO of Tullymore Resort, said. “It’s a little different than the golf that will be going on that weekend, but part of the festival atmosphere we want to be part of the weekend.”

The craft beer tent will be open from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and Onager will perform starting at 7:30 p.m.

Craft beer tent vouchers are on sale now. Stop by or call either the Tullymore Tap Room or St. Ives Grille at 231.972.4837.

A voucher includes admittance to the tent, entertainment, swag and two beers. Visitors will have to bring the pre-purchased voucher to the tent to obtain a wrist band and their two beer tokens. Additional beer tokens can be purchased.

Festival goers must be 21 years or older to enter the craft beer tent, and must have the pre-purchased voucher. The resort asks that visitors drink responsibly and always assign a designated driver.

The craft beer night is part of a week of activities. SpartanNash, on behalf of its Our Family® and Spartan® exclusive private brands, and the Canadian Lakes Property Owners Corporation (CLPOC), are teaming up with the resort to present two Tullymore Classic Pro-Ams on Wednesday, June 29, and Thursday, June 30. A junior golf clinic is slated for Tuesday.
