Volvik White-Color S3 Golf Balls
For years, Volvik, with its colorful “crystal” balls has been thought of as a “ladies ball.” It’s not just the colors. Volvik as been a prominent sponsor of women’s professional golf events and players. On a recent trip to my local pro shop, however, I noticed boxes of a new Volvik White Color ball, clearly marketed to male players.
The White Color S3 is a three piece ball aimed at players with a swing speed of 80 – 120 mph. That range includes most men and better women players. The core contains bismuth, which Volvik says provides greater explosiveness for more distance.
The ball is referred to as a “White Color” because the white base is mixed with a pearlescent blue for higher visibility.
