Will Rogers On Golf

American humorist Will Rogers (1879 – 1935) is a cousin of mine, through a great grandmother’s sister. That’s somewhat distant, but I’ll claim him anyway because I love his work so much.  Here’s a great quote on golf:

I guess there is nothing that will get your mind off everything like golf. I have never been depressed enough to take up the game, but they say you get so sore at yourself you forget to hate your enemies.
