The upcoming issue of Golf for Women names Anne Murray as the top female amateur in the entertainment industry.
Her handicap is 11.
The 62-year-old singer beat out Tea Leoni by a stroke; Celine Deon is next with a 17.
Browsing the rest of the list, it’s pretty obvious that the women don’t take golf as seriously as the male entertainers. Dennis Quaid, for example, is apparently a “1”; Thomas Gibson, the “Greg” to Tea Leoni’s “Dharma” is a 4. So is Alice Cooper. A list that I saw named at least thirty male entertainers in the single digits.
I suspect that the women just have better things to do.

I am sorry I know this, and I am especially sorry I am pointing this out by posting it:
Jenna Elfman was Dharma.
Tea Leoni has mostly been in movies, I am not sure if she has a TV show. She is (or at least was at one point) Mrs. David Duchovny.
Good heavens, you’re right. I’ve gotten my vacuous and totally forgettable blonde actresses mixed up.
