Last year’s money leader, Matt Kuchar, is the bettors favorite in this year’s Hope Classic at 10/1. He’s followed by Tim Clark at 16/1, Bubba Watson and Bill Haas at 20/1, Chad Campbell at 15/1 and Steve Marino, Jeff Overton and Rory Sabbatini all in at 28/1.
This is a good tournament for the dark horse to win, since many of the big name players, including Phil Mickelson are collecting their appearance fees at the Dubai Classic. The event also has a great degree of uncertainty because of the unusual format: one tour pro grouped with three amateurs on four courses over five days. Hard to handicap this one.
