I think the secret for a perfect margarita lie in the ingredients: fresh limes, squeezed, top quality tequila and Cointreau.
My own recipe uses the 3/2/1 ratio. Three Tequila to two Cointreau to one lime.
And remember: Shaken, not stirred. When a cocktail has fruit (eg lime), you shake it up.
