Golf Is Everywhere: The Joker Trumps An Ace

In the classic Batman TV Show from 1966, The Joker hatches up a crime scheme involving a golf course, a Maharaja and a set of bejeweled golf clubs. Were the clubs early Honma Beres? Probably.

The episode is entitled: The Joker Trumps An Ace. It first aired April 6, 1966. The conclusion of the two-part episode was April 7, 1966 and was titled Batman Sets The Pace.

I’ve been rewatching the series lately as I work out in the morning; this is the second episode I’ve seen with golf involved. The other had Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson practicing their putting.

The Joker employs gas to knock out the Maharaja’s foursome.
The Batmobile pursues the Joker’s car down a fairway.
And of course the whole things ends up in a big fight.
