Here’s a bit of golf advice I got from Nick Price in a chat near the putting green:
“The three most important things for a mid handicapper are alignment, posture and ball setup. If you do those thing right every time, you improve your chances of playing well ten fold. If you’re out of position, you have to make too much of an effort to get back into position, and that’s where you lose all your power and accuracy.
“I play with guys every week in the pro-ams, and I find that just by getting them to aim correctly, they show great improvement.
“Out here (on Tour), we have an advantage in that we have our caddies standing behind us watching every shot. If I get out of position, he’ll say “hey what are you doing?”
“Its like this week. He noticed that my grip had changed. I turned it around, and I started hitting the ball well.”
