This is on my list on my Ohio trip. Problem is I now have six courses on the list and I don’t know how I can do it reasonably in under 6 days away from home including driving:
1) Ohio State Scarlet
2) Ohio State Grey
3) Longaberger
4) Firestone
5) Black Diamond Golf Course (Millersberg)
6) University of Michigan Blue
I can combine Scarlet & Grey into one day, and I can combine Longaberger & Black Diamond – but I am pretty sure I want to give Firestone the full day, and UM Blue is far enough away it can’t be combined with another. Still I am going to have to send my wife and daughter to some camp or something to get this much leave.
They guy I played with was raving about Black Diamond. TOSU’s courses are also on my list—I’ve played Michigan State’s, UM’s and Indiana’s. I should make it my mission to play all of the Big Ten Schools’ home courses.
Nice picture of Longaberger Golf course. However, it is hole #4…not #3. I have played the course every year. It is starting to go down hill, way over priced for todays market. The golf staff is not what they were a couple of years ago.
Tal, you’re right! I checked my notes. Fixed. Thanks.
