Longines is a venerable watchmaker that gets overshadowed by bigger brand names such as Rolex and Omega. The company was founded in Saint-Imier Switzerland by Augusta Agassaz in 1832. The winged hourglass logo is the oldest registered trademark for a watchmaker. The company now is part of the all-watch-consuming Swatch Group.
