Michigan PGA Collects Aid For Midland
Flooding in Midland, Michigan is national news. More than 10,000 have been evacuated in the wake of the breach of several dams.
In response, Southeast Michigan PGA Professionals are collecting supplies for families affected by the flood.
Michigan PGA Members Jordan Young and Brian Cairns have partnered with Southeast Michigan businesses and PGA Members to collect supplies to help the families affected by the flood. They hope to fill two trailers, donated by APAC Paper and CMAC Transportation, with high demand products for the families displaced this past week.
The Michigan PGA and other PGA Members are joining in to help as we mobilize to try and make this happen over the Holiday weekend.
“It’s time to help! The Michigan golf community has been very generous in the past, Midland needs our help NOW!”, says Jordan Young, PGA Member.
Mark Laske, APAC Paper, and Scott Christie, CMAC Transportation, didn’t hesitate to offer their support as they will help transport the donated goods to Midland. Jordan and Brian hope to use the Holiday weekend to have people drop off needed supplies for those in a flood situation.
High priority is for nonperishable foods, personal hygiene products, blankets, new socks and clothes, gift cards, diapers and cleaning supplies.
Drop Off Location:
Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center
8768 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170
