Odds To Win The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship - 2013

Nike has to be pleased that its two biggest stars will start the season together at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship—and that both are favored to win.

Rory McIlroy is the bettors slight favorite at 9/2, while Tiger is in at 6/1. Obviously, no one would be surprised to see one of these two win. The field, however, is quite strong. It also features Martin Kaymer (9/1), Justin Rose (14/1), Jason Dufner (22/1), Peter Hanson (25/1) and Ernie Els (28/1).

Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Dufner win? Why not? The guy seems unflappable.

Last year’s winner, Robert Rock is in at 66/1.

Because European Tour events are televised at odd times, I don’t normally watch. This week, however, I’ll make a particular effort because of the hooplah associated with Misters Woods and McIlroy.
