A Superintendent’s Revenge outing — aka the Toughest Day of Golf and Greenskeeper’s Revenge — traditionally challenges players with unusual tee locations, difficult pin positions and the occasional obstacle.
More ambitious Revenge outings might use smaller holes, limit which clubs can be used, and utilize miniature golf setups for putting.

For its part, the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia went all-out, and over-the-top with its Superintendent’s Revenge.
