Pure Michigan Campaign Renewed

In a last minute attack of common sense, Michigan’ state legislature “found” ten million to renew the highly successful “Pure Michigan” ad campaign. The tourism ads, which feature Michigan native Tim Allen as narrator, are wonderfully produced and have garnered numerous awards. Even so, funding is down $30 million since 2007. It’s true that the state is broke—as are many others—but tourism dollars is one way to bring in some extra revenue.
