Dave Perkins of the Toronto Star has some pointed criticism of the PGA Tour’s plan for realigning the season.
The most telling paragraph is that what might be bugging Finchem and company is:
that the game’s biggest moments essentially generate so much revenue and such high ratings on someone else’s behalf. The Masters belongs to Augusta National, the United States Golf Association controls its Open, the Royal and Ancient handles the British and the PGA of America runs its own championship and the Ryder Cup.
