I missed this story yesterday, but heard it on the morning sports news:
David Toms was airlifted to a hospital in Pittsburgh on Thursday after finishing nine holes in the 84 Lumber Classic. He was suffering some heart difficulties. Various news reports have listed him at either stable or critical. The difference is probably due to the point at which the report went to press.
I really like David Toms, both for his play, and for the charity work he does with children. My prayers are with him.
Update:
The Boston Globe reports that Toms is in good condition.
Update 2:
Toms has been released from the Hospital.
