Treetops Masterpiece Sixth Hole

Treetops Masterpiece Hole Six

I played the Treetops Masterpiece today, a course designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1986. It was the course that put Northern Michigan golf on the national golf map. Above is a photo of the oft imitated par three sixth. It features a 120 foot drop from tee to green. From the back tees (and you HAVE to play it from the back tees, even if you play forward the rest of the course), it measures 180 yards, but may play as much as four clubs shorter.
