XXIO, which is owned by Dunlop, apparently is a big thing in Japan. The brand has not, obviously, had a much of an impact in the States. Nonetheless, this is a set that I’d like to try. It has a construction similar to that of my much beloved R7 XDs with a titanium face welded to a steel frame. It also has an interesting tungsten combined neck and sole weight.
More weight on the inside should make it easier for a player to close the clubface, while the weight low should make it easier to get the ball in the air.
If anyone out there at Dunlop is listening, I’d love to be able to playtest a set of these.
