Did Golf Evolve From Kloven?

By many accounts, the game of golf evolved from a Dutch game called Kloven. The video below is a Dutch? documentary showing folk playing Kloven.

Watching it, I’m not sure how this particular game evolved into golf. It seems more like shuffleboard or even curling. Maybe a translation of the video would explain it more fully.
